A művészet sokak számára kifejezés, számára viszont egy életforma. Egy tér, ahol történetek születnek, és ahol az ember közelebb kerülhet önmagához. Mai vendégünk közel egy évtizede járja a színművészet útját, miközben egyre erősebben képviseli azt az üzenetet, hogy a valódi érték bennünk rejlik. Nagy Dominik – díjlovagló
NAGY DOMINIK életét 2 éves kora óta a lovak szeretete jellemzi. Közel 30 évesen jutott odáig, hogy elkezdje az Állatorvosi Egyetemet, már mint agrármérnök, egyetemi oktató, hivatalos lovas oktató és (átmenetileg szüneteltetett) díjlovagló. Más sportban is bronzermes világbajnok, az egyéb területen képezte magát.
Egy megfontolt, igazán izgalmas életet élő fiatalember, amint a beszélgetésből kiderül.

Maladype – játszótársak a színpadon
25 éve létezik, és 25 éve képes mindig megújulni, új képi és formai megoldásokat hozni, kérdéseket feltenni, mélyre menni és katarzist okozni. A Maladype idén negyed százada „keresi a színházi-, és a nem színházi terek adta váratlan lehetőségeket, a szabálytalan színészi megoldásokat és azokat a közvetlen nézői reakciókat, melyek mentesek a hagyományos színházi elvárásoktól és klasszikus viselkedésformáktól.“ Balázs Zoltánnal, a Maladype alapítójával, rendezőjével, művészeti vezetőjével beszélgettünk színházról, katarzisról, művészetről, darabokról és persze a Maladypéről.

Táncolni 100 éven is túl
P. Ács Vali, sok generáció meghatározó tánctanára idén lett 100 éves. Nádasi Ferenc és Berczik Sári növendéke saját módszert alakított ki az évek során, amivel 94 éves koráig tanította a növendékeket. Vali reggelenként még mindig tánccal kezdi a napot Így kell ezt csinálni, kérem! 
P. Ács Vali Nádasi Ferenc, majd Berczik Sára tanítványa volt. A balett után mozdulatművészetet tanult, majd tanított, míg ez utóbbit a szocializmusban be nem tiltották. 20 éves korától kezdve tanított – táncot, gondolkodást, tartást, művészi szemléletet és hozzáállást. Tanítványai számára máig meghatározó az, amit Vali néni stúdiójából magukkal vittek az életbe.
Ladjánszki Márta táncos, a beszélgetés egyik résztvevője, maga is P. Ács Vali tanítványa volt.

Werner Herzog: Jégben gyalogolni
Nehéz helyzetekben néha az ember próbál mintegy alkut kötni a sorssal. Ha ez vagy az a dolog nem következik be, akkor én ezt vagy azt a nagy dolgot viszem végbe. Így volt ez 1974-ben, a fiatal filmrendező életében is. Mentora, az idős filmesztéta megbetegedett és mindenki arra gondolt, hogy ezt nem élheti túl, meg fog halni. A filmrendező úgy döntött, hogy ez nem következhet be, ha ő Münhenből, ahol családjával lakott, elgyalogol Párizsba, ahol a beteg barátja él. A gondolatot tett követte és útra kelt. Nem törődve a késő őszi – kora téli időjárással. Ennek az útnak a mozzanatait naplóban rögzítette, amit nem szánt megjelentetni. Pár évvel később mégis a nyilvánosság elé tárta. Így tudhatjuk meg, hogyan gyalogol egy filmes Münchenből Párizsba. Mit lát, milyen film pereg a szeme előtt.

A szerzővel való beszélgetésben szó került egy helyi süteményről, a scone-ról. Anglia legdélnyugatibb csücskében van két város, ahol másként eszik ezt a süteményt. Félbevágva, alul eper lekvárral, rajta egy tejszínes krémmel (clotted cream). Ez a cornwalli módi. Aki ezt fordítva teszi (krém alul, dzsem felül, az devoni. A két város e tekintetben örök harcban áll.
Na mármost. Én elkövettem a beszélgetésben azt a hibát, hogy Devon helyett Denvert mondtam. Egyszer 5 perc 15 mp-nél, azután megtetéztem azzal, hogy 22 perc 45 mp-nél szintén Denvert mondtam. Tehát, szögezzük le. DEVON az az angliai helyiség, ahol a scone-t rosszul eszik – a cornwalliak szerint. Szerzőnk Cornwallban él és állítja, hogy bizony így a finomabb, mint ahogyan azt a királynő is megmondta. Remélem, hogy ezzel kiküszöböltem a csorbát. Elnézést kérek!

Egy elszabadult vérrög a nyaki ütőéren keresztül utat tör magának az agy egyik vénájába, és ott eltorlaszolja az áramlást. A vérellátás hiánya azután okozhat rengeteg problémát az életünkben. Ez történt a regénybéli Ászjával, amikor afázia állt elő. Az addig 40 éve flottul működő kommunikációs eszközét, az angol nyelvet nem tudta többé használni. A fejében összerakott szavakat, mondattöredékeket képtelen volt kimondani. Szerencsére az anyanyelvét, a norvégot nem érte el a sokk. A gyerekkori nyelvvel a gyerekkori emlékek is utat találtak hozzá. Bepötyögte a laptopjába, így gondolatai eljutnak hozzánk.

Meséld el nekünk benyomásaidat és emlékeidet régi vagy újabb fényképeid alapján, amelyeket kérünk hozz magaddal!
Hogyan változott a józsefvárosi szomszédságod az elmúlt években? Melyek voltak a legfontosabb átalakulások, amiket észrevettél? Hatással voltak ezek a változások rád, a házadra vagy a környékedre? Hogyan? Tapasztaltál jelentős változásokat az épületedben?
Oszd meg benyomásaidat és emlékeidet a józsefvárosi szomszédságodról vagy a történelmi lakóépületedről az általad kiválasztott régi vagy újabb fényképeken található történetek elmesélésével.
Ez a workshop a „TransHerit” kutatási projekt része, amely a történelmi lakóházak átalakulását vizsgálja Budapest 8. és 7. kerületében, valamint Bécs 15. és 10. kerületében, és ezek hatását a mindennapi életre.
A Civil Rádóban Szemző Hanna szociológus beszél a Photovoice műhelyről és a módszerről is.

A „játékok játéka“, a gombfoci (Torda Judit)
Egy kis balatoni városkából indult el világhódító útjára egy sport. Nagyon sok híve van Magyarországon, de rendeznek világbajnokságokat is. Baráti társaságok, kisebb csoportok szabadidejükben lelkesen utaznak egyik városból a másikba, sokszor egy nagy szurkolói csapat kíséri őket. A játékosok kora sem meghatározó, hiszen gyerekek, felnőttek, idősek, férfiak sőt nők is megtalálhatóak soraikban.

Zalai Károly: Ha neandervölgyi vagy
Az elmúlt néhány évben sokat megtudtunk már arról, hogy a Homo sapiens és a neandervölgyiek között milyen kölcsönhatás volt, arról azonban még mindig vitatkozik a tudomány, hogy miként keresztezte egymást a két csoport. Úgy véli – mármint a tudomány –, hogy ha a neandervölgyi rendszeresen nemzett utódokat a Homo sapiensnek, akkor az idővel erodálhatta a populációját egészen addig, amíg el nem tűnt. A kutatók szerint a neandervölgyiek 600 ezer évvel ezelőtt fejlődhettek ki Európában és Ázsiában, míg a Homo sapiens 400 ezer évvel ezelőtt Afrikában. Egy átlagos ma élő európaiban nagyjából 2% a neandervölgyi DNS. Mi lehetett a neandervölgyiek eltűnésének oka? Betegség, népírtás, asszimilálódás, klímaváltozás? Egyelőre nem tudni. Ami valószínű, hogy a csökkenő populációhoz jó ütemben érkeztek a sapiensek, hogy közösen benépesítsék a Földet. Az ajánlott könyv nem ismeretterjesztő munka, hanem regény, ami napjainkban történik. És olyan tulajdonságokat társít a neandervölgyiséghez, amelyek talán sokunkban megtalálhatók. Lehet, hogy nemcsak 2% a neandervölgyiség bennünk?

Anna Stuart: A berlini állatkert őrzői
Közhely, de igaz, hogy rettenetes dolog a háború. Ha egy országot bombázni kezdenek, ott az elszenvedőket globális bántalmazás ér. Igaz, a bombázó területet és/vagy hatalmat akar a másik felett szerezni, de biztos, hogy ártatlan civilek is áldozatul esnek. Otthonaik elpusztulnak, munkahelyük és megélhetésük veszélybe kerül. A regény a második világháború utolsó két évében játszódik, amikor Berlint a szövetségesek szinte folyamatos bombázással próbálták megadásra kényszeríteni. Eközben a lakosság – leginkább nők és gyerekek – légvédelmi pincékbe húzódva próbált túlélni. A város központi helyén állt és áll ma is az állatkert, ami szintén ki volt téve a bombázásnak. Az állatokat nem tudták a föld alá bújtatni. Így sokan közülük elpusztultak. A történet a zoofamily-ről szól. Emberek és gyerekek, akik az állatkert megmentését szinte a saját életük elé helyezték.

Anna Blix: A várandósság 40 hete
Sok nő onnan tudja, hogy gyermeket vár, hogy émelyeg, hányingere van és a reggelt hányással kezdi. Olvasva a könyvet ünnepeltem, hogy ezeket megúsztam, de voltak illatok – pld. a kávéé -, amiktől én is émelyegtem. De persze egy biológusnak még a másállapot is más. Szegény szerzőnk nehéz babaváró volt kétszer is. Sokszor elgondolkozott, hogyan bírta volna ki úgy, hogy nincs mellette a párja, aki megreggelizteti enyhén pirított kenyérrel és sajttal. És ha már így elgondolkodott, akkor párhuzamot vont az állatvilág szaporodási módozataival. Szarkasztikus humorral, könnyedséggel és lazasággal beszél a párhuzamokról és a különbségekről. Felmondani nem tudnám az állatvilág 81 féle szaporodási módját, de a könyvet nagyon élveztem. Nemkülönben a könyvet szakmailag lektoráló biológussal való beszélgetést.

Az eltűnt idő nyomában…
Szó szerint… Fehér László festőművész nagyméretű munkáinak az 1980-as évekből kifejezetten jó áll a galéria egy részén meghagyott rusztikus téglafal. Ami pedig az eltűnt időt illeti, egyszer csak érkezett a kiállítótérbe egy olyan mű is, amiről a művésznek fogalma sem volt, hogy mit rejt a csomagolás. A kép negyven évet várt arra, hogy ismét megmutathassa magát. Nem mellesleg, szóba kerül majd a festő műtermi outfitje is.

Prófécia Z generációsan
Mennyire ismerjük a Z generációt, mit tudunk arról, mit gondolnak a világról, hogy élik meg a hétköznapjaikat és milyen elképzelésük van a jövőről? Bemutatták Fabricius Gábor legújabb, Prófécia című dokumentumfilmjét. Az alkotás a Z generációs magyar fiatalok gondolatvilágába enged betekintést: útkeresésről, nemi identitásról, drogokról, halálról, gyermekvállalásról és transzgenerációs traumákról beszélgetnek a kamera előtt. Mit tudnak adni egymásnak a különböző generációk, mennyire ítélkezünk és empátiahiánnyal küzd-e a szülők generációja? Korábbi rövidfilmjei (Skinner, Dialogue) több mint száz nemzetközi filmfesztiválon szerepeltek, többek között Torontóban (TIFF), Londonban, Bostonban és Mumbaiban. Íróként a Más Bolygó című regényével vált ismertté, amelyet az Európa Könyvkiadó jelentetett meg, és amelyet 2016-ban Aegon irodalmi díjra jelöltek. Fabricius a londoni Central Saint Martins College MA alumnija, munkásságát Cannes Golden Media Lion-, EPICA- és CLIO-díjakkal is elismerték.

Aludjuk magunkat intelligenssé
Hogy aludtál ma? A hazai felmérések szerint a magyarok 70 százaléka tapasztalt már alvászavart, minden negyedik ember pedig rendszeresen fáradtan ébred – miközben a neurológiai kutatások alapján az alvás minősége közvetlenül hat a kognitív teljesítményre és az agy regenerációjára. Tényleg rontja az intelligenciát a tartós alváshiány? Mennyit és hogyan kell aludnunk, hogy kipihenten ébredjünk? Milyen funkciói vannak az alvásnak? Mi az a a BDNF (Brain-Derived Neurotrophic Factor) és hogy hat az emberi agyra?
„Az alvás és az intelligencia kapcsolata túlmutat azon, hogy valaki kipihent-e. A modern kutatások szerint az alvás szerkezete is közvetlen összefüggésben áll a kognitív teljesítménnyel és az agyi plaszticitással, vagyis az agy változásra való képességével” – hangsúlyozza dr. Bohács Krisztina, intelligencia kutató, a GEM Tanulási Központ szakmai vezetője.

Polgárosodás és civil társadalom – Magyarország a 2020-as években
Kovách Imre szociológus, egyetemi tanár a Civil Rádió Demokrácia MOST! című műsorának vendége
Kapcsolódó, de leginkább erősen átfedő fogalmak körüljárásával, mai értelmezésével foglalkoztunk a Civil Rádió Demokrácia MOST! című műsorának vendégével. Kisebb részben érintettük e fogalmak tudományos alapjait, esetenként a történelmi kialakulásukat, ám sokkal inkább a gyakorlati életünkben való jelentőségét, alakulását vettük előtérbe ebben a beszélgetésben.
E téma kapcsán mégis kikerülhetetlen kulcsfogalmak: az autonómia, az életmód alakulása, a kockázatvállalás, a (pozitív) individualizmus, polgári nyilvánosság, az öntevékenység képessége -bátorsága és hasonlóak, amelyek alakították a beszélgetés vonalát, s amelyek ezekből a nézőpontokból határozzák meg a közös életünket. Azt, hogy „hiányzik – de legalábbis gyenge a hazai társadalom közepe”, tehát az erős – azaz a biztonságot is jelentő középosztály. De mégis…
A jövőt latolgatva abban erősített meg Bennünket ez a diskurzus, s főként Kovách Imre gondolatmenete, akárhogyan is alakul a következő hónapokban-években a magyar társadalom; a kormányzás gyakorlatának jelentős változására, változtatására kell számítanunk, a mostaniakhoz képest.

Háy János: A csokimikulásos lány
Szeretem olvasni a szerző sajátos szófordulatait. A szeretést és a nemszeretést. Az életet és a neméletet. A létezést és a nemlétezést. A tagadás egybe írva az állítással. Ilyen szólelemény a csokimikulásos lány. Ez a lány onnan kapta a nevét, hogy a kollégiumban, ahol a fiú lakott, mindenki kapott egy mikuláscsomagot. Volt benne szaloncukor és egy rossz minőségű csokiból készült csokimikulás. Innen idézek a könyvből: „Gondoltam, meglepem azt a lányt, akit a táskáslány után kinéztem magamnak és összegyűjtöm a koleszban a csokimikulásokat. Mennél többet, annál jobban látszik, hogy mennyire szeretem…Vittem a mikulásokat, egy nejlonszatyorban voltak, és pakoltam elő a padra a lány elé, sorban egymás mellé. Volt, amelyik nehezebben állt meg. … A lány zavarban volt, nem értette, miért csinálom ezt, és nem gondolta, hogy az ehetetlen csokimikulások tömege összefüggésben van az iránta érzett rajongásom mértékével. Azt gondolta, hogy ez a fickó idióta, ilyet normális ember nem csinál, aztán lesöpörte az egészet a földre. Vagy véletlen megbillentette a padot, és leestek. Ezt a változatot választottam akkor, mert ez jobb volt, mint a direkt.”

Mennyire más az elmélet, mint a gyakorlat. Vagy már az elmélettel is baj volt? Amikor a 80-as évek második felében a peresztrojkát meghirdette Mihail Gorbacsov, a szabadság reménye hullámzott végig Közép-Európán. Ez a gazdasági-társadalmi reformcsomag olyan bomlási folyamatot indított el, amitől nemcsak a szovjet birodalom omlott össze, hanem a befolyási övezetéhez tartozó országokban is elindult a nagy átalakulás. A szétesőfélben lévő Szovjetunióban volt a leglátványosabb a vadkapitalizmus. Vidd, amit látsz! Ez a regény az alcíme szerint bűntények története. Igen, az. Minden oldalra jut belőlük. A történet sok szálon fut, a kapitalizáció sokféle arcát mutatja meg. Eközben nem nélkülözi a börleszk jeleneteket. Egyszerre szomorú és nevetséges történet.

4 évvel ezelőtt Karaktergyilkosság címmel jelent meg a szerzőnek könyve. A lejáratás nemcsak az ismert szereplőket, hanem akár a gyerekeinket is érintheti. Nem érdektelen tehát a téma ismerete.
De beszéljünk most a kommunikációs szakember új könyvéről, a Propagandáról. Morgolódunk, hogy mindent áthat a propaganda. Ezért is érdemes tisztán látni, hogy mi propaganda és mi nem az. Tudományos alapossággal, közérthetően és rengeteg példával vezet be minket a szerző a manipulatív kommunikáció hatásmechanizmusába. Ahogyan közelednek a választások, szaporodnak a plakátok, óriások vagy kisebbek. Szórólapok, telefonhívások és még számtalan eszköz igyekszik meggyőzni minket az egyetlen helyes útról. Hogyan tudunk védekezni a mindent átható befolyásolási kísérletek ellen? Hogyan manipulálnak minket és mit tehetünk ellene? – teszi fel a kérdést a könyv alcíme. A válasz látszólag nagyon egyszerű: tudd, hogy ki, milyen üzenettel, minek az érdekében akar hatni rád. A recept könnyűnek tűnik, de figyelmet követel tőlünk, tehát munkás.

Városi táj 1974-1989. Progresszív fotók Budapestről
Budapest 15 éve a 20. századból, ezúttal neoavantgárd és szubjektív dokumentarista fotós szemmel. Itt nincsenek ’szépen’ komponált fotográfiák, pillanatnyi történések viszont igen, és az sem baj, ha az optika belevág a témába. Vagy éppen véletlenszerűen exponál a fotós, anélkül, hogy látná a képet. Ez is Budapest… és benne mi.

Janikovszky100 emlékév
A 2026. év a Janikovszky100 emlékév. Janikovszky Évát, az írót (nem írónő, mert az nem szerette) Magyarországon biztos nem kell bemutatni. Immár három generáció konkrétan az Ő könyvein nőtt fel itthon. Miután több, mint 30 nyelvre lefordították a gyerekeknek, illetve a gyerekekről a felnőtteknek szóló könyveit – a világban is nagyon sok kedvelője van.
A fia, JANIKOVSZKY JÁNOS mesél a beszélgetésben az emlékév születéséről, és a 2026 április 23.-i emléknap – meglepetésekkel teli – programjáról.
