Egy 203 éves platán lett a Tudomány Fája a Margitszigeten
Az 1825-ben gróf Széchenyi István által alapított Magyar Tudományos Akadémiával nagyjából egykorú az az idős, margitszigeti platán, amely tegnaptól „A tudomány fája” címet viseli.
A budapesti Margitszigeten a Szabadtéri Színpad és az MTA egykori elnökének, a zeneszerző és zenetudós Kodály Zoltánnak a szobrához közeli fát az Akadémia 2025 őszén meghirdetett Tudománybarát Település Mozgalmának keretében jelölték meg.
A mozgalomhoz csatlakozó településeken hagyománnyá vált, hogy csatlakozásuk emlékére fát ültetnek. Budapest Főváros Önkormányzata és a Magyar Tudományos Akadémia közös döntése értelmében viszont a fővárosban nem egy facsemetét ültettek, hanem a Margitsziget egy impozáns, idős platánját jelölték ki, hogy szimbolizálja a város és az MTA együttműködését.

1969, Aczél-korszak, Budapest. A Párizsban élő Victor Vasarely a kiállítását rendezi a Műcsarnokban, miközben Major János grafikusművész már készül a megnyitóra egyszemélyes performanszával. Ezekben az években ugyanis a magyar neo – avantgarde és absztrakt művészet még a tűrt kategória peremén egyensúlyozott, nemhogy bejusson a Műcsarnokba. Tiltakozásként Major János a tömegben sétálva egy kis papírlapot mutatott fel a barátainak, ezzel az üzenettel: „Vasarely Go Home”.

Civil drogstratégia készül – Topolánszky Ákossal beszélgettünk (2011)
„Úgy indult ez az egész tervezés, az egész gondolkodás, hogy mindezektől az aktuálpolitikai cselekvésektől, történésektől függetlenül kell valahogyan megszervezni a szakmai civilitást annak érdekében, hogy magasabb identitással, jobb érdekérvényesítéssel, jobb helyzetértelmezéssel, mindenfajta eszköztárakkal próbáljon részt venni… – Miért? Milyenek ezek a civilek? – Hát ezek nagyon sokfajták. A dolgoknak éppen az a lényege, hogy Magyarországon a civilitás még mindig… egy… több szempontból, egyrészt az állam által is nagyon gyenge partnernek minősül, másrészt ők maguk sem hiszik el magukról, hogy elég erősek. Nincsenek is meg azok a kanálisok, azok a csatornák, amelyeken igazi civil érdekek jól tudnának artikulálódni. Ez tehát egy nagy szegénysége ennek az országnak. Nem csoda, történelmi háttere van. Negyvenkilenc, ötven, ötvenegyben megszüntették először az egyházat, majd az összes civilitást Magyarországon. És ez egy elképesztő hiányt jelent. Emlékszem, amikor létrehoztuk a mi egyházi alapú, de önálló szakmai szervezetünket nyolcvanhat nyolcvanhétben, akkor százon aluli bejegyzési számú civil szervezet volt Budapesten. Azóta meg ugye ötven hatvanezer ilyen van. De hát ez még mindig nagyon kevés. Ezek is küszködnek, ezek is alapvetően az állam függvényében vannak, ami egyrészt bizonyos kényelmet jelent, másrészt meg elképesztő veszélyeket jelent. Nincsen igazi tiszta civilitás, viszont van rengeteg kiszolgáltatottság. Nos ebben a helyzetben gondoltuk azt, hogy gondolunk egy nagyot. … Tényleg olyasmire vállalkoztunk, ami valószínűleg meg se fog igazából valósulni, de egy egyedülálló dolog. … azért egyedülálló a dolog, mert még ilyet nem találtunk. Nyomoztuk egész Európában és nincsen ilyen, vagyis az, hogy egy egész ágazathoz tartozó civil szerveződés-világ egy egységes stratégiát próbáljon létrehozni.”

„A fonyódi tájromboló beruházás közpénz-támogatását is firtatták a tüntetők”
Ezzel a címmel számolt be a Levegő Munkacsoport a közelmúltban a helyi civilek részvételével zajlott Balaton parti demonstrációról Fonyódon, a Balaton partján 99 lakásos, négyemeletes állítólagos lakásokat tartalmazó épület tervei kapcsán.
„A tüntetésen felszólalók elmondták: a The View nevű beruházás megvalósítása esetén újabb természetközeli partszakasz helyére kerülne beton, fokozva a tó ökoszisztémájának a pusztulását. Az alacsony magasságú házak közé olyan épülettömeg kerülne, amely alapvetően megváltoztatja a településképet és a balatoni tájkaraktert. A beépítés a gépjárműforgalom és parkolóhely-igény jelentős növekedésével járna, amit a beruházó úgy kíván „megoldani”, hogy leaszfaltozza a korábban fűvel szegélyezett békés utcákat kerítéstől kerítésig…
Németh Helga független önkormányzati képviselő arra hívta fel a figyelmet, hogy a beruházás megvalósítását az állam közpénzekből támogatja a Lakhatási Tőkeprogram révén. Ennek a programnak az a célja, hogy a lakásválságot enyhítse – elsősorban a fiatal családok lakásvásárlásának a segítésével – nem pedig az, hogy az adófizetők pénzéből újabb ingatlant szerezzenek azok, akiknek erre egyáltalán nincs szükségük a lakásproblémáik megoldásához. A beruházó ugyanis a tervezett ingatlant »második otthonként« hirdeti, ami arra utalhat, hogy az elsősorban üdülési célokat szolgál. Ha pedig ez így van, akkor nemcsak a Lakhatási Tőkeprogram által nyújtandó támogatás jogszerűtlen, hanem az is, hogy a beruházó az építkezés után csak 5%-os áfát fizetne, miközben az üdülőépítést 27%-os áfa terheli.

A Vízpart hangjai – Bert sétány – Valyo Egyesület
A Vízpart hangjai egy olyan alkotótábor, amelyben iskolás gyerekek és 60+-korúak vesznek részt. A két korosztály együtt dolgozik a Bert sétány felújításán. Ötleteik alapján megújul Újbuda eddig kihasználatlan Duna-partja.
Egy lelkes fiatalokból álló csapat hozta létre a Valyo egyesületet. Céljuk: Szeretnénk, ha az emberek használnák a Dunát és a Duna-partot. Ha az itt élő emberek magukénak éreznék a várost és folyót. BALOGH KATÁval beszélgettünk.

Rendszerváltók Vesztesége – a gyógyulástól az újjáépítésig
Június elején tartotta a Napfogyatkozás Egyesület és a Civil Kollégium Alapítvány közös kezdeményezését: a Rendszerváltók Vesztesége Platform első, kísérleti alkalmát.
Erről a különleges folyamatról beszélgettünk a Civil Rádió Délutáni magazinjában Kánya Kingával, a Napfogyatkozás Egyesület szakemberével.
„A résztvevők nagy nyitottsággal és intenzitással dolgoztak együtt: személyes történeteket osztottak meg, veszteségeket neveztek meg és teret adtak annak, ami sokáig kimondatlan maradt” – mondta el Kánya Kinga. „Megerősödtünk abban a hitünkben, hogy a magyar demokrácia újraépítéséhez nemcsak intézményekre, hanem a veszteségek kölcsönös elismerésére és a társadalmi szolidaritás erősítésére is szükség van.”
Péterfi Ferenc interjújában szóba került a nagy kataklizma veszteseinek – itt nem a politikai elit tagjaira, hanem főként a szavazói és aktivista bázisára utaltunk – a szükséglete; esetenként a kijózanodás és az ő gyászuk is a társadalmi szolidaritás része. De erre is tekintettel és készenlétben van a szakmai szervezetek veszteség-feldolgozási szándéka.

Ne Bántsátok Egymást – Piros Lapot az iskolai bántalmazásnak!
Újabb mérföldkőhöz érkezett a 8K Alapítvány iskolai bántalmazással kapcsolatos prevenciós programja, a Ne Bántsátok Egymást – Piros Lapot az iskolai bántalmazásnak! Több mint 20 000 diák, közel 300 iskola és 31 önkormányzat részvételével zárult a kampány harmadik tanéve. A program keretében a közösségfejlesztés eszközeivel hívják fel a figyelmet az iskolai bántalmazásra, számos formában támogatják az iskolások bevonását a kortárs bántalmazás elleni küzdelembe. Az eddigi tanulságokra és eredményekre építve a program a jövő tanévben új szakaszba lép: a 6-18 éves korosztály számára kidolgozott, tanéven átívelő közösségi tanulási rendszerként folytatódik.

A szakszervezetek nyílt leve kormányhoz
A SZEF és a négy másik magyar szakszervezeti konföderáció egységesen lépett fel az Európai Szakszervezeti Szövetség (ESZSZ) felhívására: közösen lépnek fel a Magyar Kormány felé az Európai Unió 2028–2034 közötti többéves pénzügyi keretének (MFF) előkészítése kapcsán, a munkavállalókat támogató európai foglalkoztatás-, szociális és kohéziós politika kialakítása érdekében.
A jelenlegi javaslatok alapján komoly a veszélye annak, hogy a dolgozók és a szakszervezetek hátrányba kerülnek. Úgy tűnik, hogy a szociális támogatások és a kohéziós alapok láthatják a kárát az átalakításoknak! Ennek hatalmas a tétje, hiszen az uniós keret belső szerkezetének kialakításába minden nemzeti kormánynak, így a Magyar Kormánynak is felelősségteljes beleszólása van.
Éppen ezért nyílt levelet írt az Európai Szakszervezeti Szövetség (ESZSZ) 5 magyarországi tagkonföderációja a Magyar Kormánynak.
A követeléseket tartalmazó hivatalos leveleket az uniós tárgyalásokban illetékes alábbi három tárca vezetőnek küldték el:

„Az újságíró az, hogyha bármilyen témát mondanak neki, két óra múlva már sokat tud belőle. Pont annyit, amennyi egy cikkhez vagy egy rádióműsorhoz szükséges. Hogyha egy kicsit több ideje van, akkor egy komolyabb cikket, rádióműsort vagy tévéműsort tud. De az biztos, hogy … a nyitottság, a kíváncsiság az kell, hogy legyen, de elképesztő lényeglátás kell, elképesztően kitágult a világ az internettel… – Izgalmasat mondtál… a sűrítés vagy az egyszerűsítés? nekem pont az a gondom, hogy a sajtó kollégái nagyon sokszor egyszerűsítenek. Tehát ugye nem szabad annyit egy dologról beszélni, nincs arra idő és tér, egyszerűsítünk, tehát kihagyunk egy csomó dolgot, mert úgy rövidebb. – Nagyon lényeges, amit mondasz. …De a dilemma az ott van, hogy van egy műsor, … a legtöbb műsor, akár a tévében, a rádióban vagy akár egy cikkben … iszonyatosan behatárolt. Ezeket a reggeli „beszélgető” műsorokat én azért nem szeretem nézni, mert azt látom – néhányszor én is voltam vendég ilyenben – hogy beül a vendég, eltelik három perc, és utána már nézik, mert rohanni kell, mert van a következő…”
„Ez a nyíltság, őszinteség akkor érdekes, ha ezt alátámasztja a környezet. – van mögötte teljesítmény… sokat szoktuk mondani, hogy mennyire autentikus a létünk, mennyire lehet valaki olyan, amilyen szeretne lenni, mennyire támasztja alá a társadalom… – Talán ez a legfontosabb kérdés szerintem a fiatalokkal, hogy mennyire lehetsz az, aki vagy. Mennyire élhetsz úgy, megnyomorodás nélkül…”
„ – Mi sürget, amitől mindenki azt mondja, hogy nincs elég idő? – Nagyon jó kérdés. Ezen nem gondolkodtam, de ha így hirtelen választ kéne keresnem, akkor azt mondanám, hogy az sürget talán, hogy horizontálisan elképesztően kitágult a világ. Egyszerre irtózatosan sok információ jön be, Irtózatosan sokat kell feldolgozni. És ahhoz, hogy azt az irtózatosan sok információt fel tudd dolgozni, ahhoz iszonyatosan fel kell gyorsulni.”

Uccu Alapítvány – párbeszéd roma és nem roma fiatalok között
A Civil Rádió Demokrácia MOST! című adásának a Budapesten alakult Uccu Alapítvány három tagja volt a vendége. Szénási Szilvi, Farkas Gabi és Dógi Richárd, akikkel az alakulásról és a mai működésről beszélgettünk.
Elmondásuk szerint az informális (tehát nem formális, nem hivatalos) oktatás megismerésével és ennek segítségével párbeszédek szervezésével kezdődött a történetük a kétezres évek első évtizedében.
Céljuk, hogy csökkentsék a romákkal kapcsolatos tévhiteket és előítéleteket, hogy mindannyian egy befogadóbb és nyitottabb világban élhessünk – írják önmagukról a weboldalukon.
Az Alapítvány 2010-ben, az akkori cigányellenes hangulatban jött létre, a romák elleni támadások, gyilkosságok idején. A szervezet kialakításában nem romák mellett, többségében maguk a roma fiatalok is részt vettek.
Akkor és azóta is abban hiszünk, hogy a cigányellenesség kapcsán az emberek jó része nem tudja, hogy kik a cigányok – említik a vendégeink. A reális cselekvés, hogy ez ellen úgy tegyünk, hogy erősítjük a párbeszédet romák és nemromák között. Ennek az egyik legerőteljesebb terepe, életkort tekintve nem a felnőtt korosztály, hanem a fiatalok. El kell kezdeni beszélgetni, aminek a helyszínei az iskolák voltak.
A budapesti csapathoz az elindulás óta több mint 40 roma fiatal önkéntes csatlakozott.
A szervezet által kezdeményezett iskolai foglalkozások volt a mi beszélgetésünknek is a fő témája. Azt hangsúlyozták, hogy a roma fiatalok tudnak a leghitelesebben képviselni, beszélni a roma identitásról, kultúráról. Ez a párbeszéd, ennek a szélesítése.
Önkéntesek, gyakornokok, majd trénerek, a kezdeményezők ezeknek a párbeszédeknek a szereplői.
Iskolai megkeresések után beszélgetésekből mindennapi történetekből bomlik ki a párbeszéd a résztvevők között. A foglalkozások tartói (a trénerek, akik mindig roma identitásúak) személyes narratívákból mutatnak be nézőpontokat.
A beszélgetésben még szó esett a közeli időkben elkezdődött városi sétákról, amelyek szintén a megismerést, a kapcsolatok-történetek átélését, s ezeken keresztül a megértést segíthetik.
Budapest egyik legsokszínűbb kerületébe hívjuk az érdeklődőket közös barangolásra – mondják. Célunk, hogy a séta során testközelből ismerjék meg a nyolcadik kerület egy speciális részét és az ott élőket.

„A rendszerváltásnak önmagunkon belül is meg kell történnie.“- írja Goda Gábor alkotó – rendező – koreográfus, az Artus – Kortárs Művészeti Stúdió alapítója. Lehet-e új eredményeket várni, ha nem újítjuk meg magát a rendszert? Hol van a helyük a hazai kortárs táncművészetekben a független társulatoknak? Hogy lehet kialakítani egy olyan pályázati- és működési szisztémát, melyben a társulatok fennmaradása nem évről évre kérdésessé válhat?
Beszélgetésünk apropóját az adta, hogy Goda Gábor Nyílt levelet írt a FB-on annak kapcsán, hogy az ARTUS nem vette át az idei, 2026-os működési pályázaton (KIM_MUK) a kuratórium által megszavazott támogatási összeget, mely az igényelt 1/4-e volt, mivel azzal nem tudták volna megvalósítani vállalásaikat.

Az eredeti szöveghez a Budaörsi Jókai Mór Művelődési Ház gyerekversíró pályázatának verseiből történt válogatás. Janikovszky Éva kortalan style és az ifjú versírók tökéletes összhangban vannak.

Janikovszky Éva és Sodró Eliza kapcsolata -KériJ
2026. április 23.-án lett volna Janikovszky Éva 100. születésnapja.
Ebből az alkalomból került – éppen 50. alkalommal – bemutatásra SODRÓ ELIZA előadásában a „Kizárólag az utókor számára” című monodráma. Alapja az napló, ami Janikovszky Éva 12-18 éves koráig íródott – felölelve 1938-1944-ig terjedő időszakot, ami alatt a fiatal lány felnőtté válik.

„Tessék csak megnézni, hogy olyan helyeken, ahol ez egyébként sokkal jobban megfér, vagy egy társadalmi értékrendszerrel összefér, ott Zuckerbergek vannak ugye, aki huszonévesen… meg Bill Gatesek… egyébként itthon is, bár ugye ez sokkal korlátozottabb, tessék a Prezit vagy a Ustreamet venni, amiket ugyancsak fiatalok raktak össze valamifajta olyan szükségletből…, alkotóvágyból satöbbi satöbbi. Csakhogy most zárjam a kört, a facebookon terjed egy ilyen, hogy azok, akik azt gondolják, hogy lehetetlen, kérjük ne zárják le az utat azok elől, akik már csinálják.”
„Hogy voltak a generációk egymással? Én akkortájt is ifjúsággal foglalkoztam… és ott is generációs távolságok voltak. Mindig arról beszéltünk, hogy mekkora távolságok vannak a fiatalok és a felnőttek között. Ha a mai világot nézem, akkor ott igazából egymás hónalját szagoltuk, annyira közel voltunk a mostani helyzethez képest. – Nem tudom… Én kutatóként ezt a Mannheim-i vagy William Strauss-i generációs logikát elfogadom. Tehát amit ma x, y, z és egyéb generációnak hívnak, csak mi akkor az x generáció voltunk, vagy ahogy minket neveznek McDonald’s nemzedéknek is. Akkor mi még az offline világ voltunk. De tényleg tanúi voltunk (csakhogy még valaminek a tanúja lehessek), amikor az első McDonald’s megnyílt a Régiposta utcában, nyolcvannyolc-kilenc körül.”

Az eseményen két különböző műfajban ősbemutatóra került sor, a harmadikban 50. előadása volt egy monodrámának és volt egy zenés előadás is. Janikovszy Éva díjjal jutalmaztak két színészt, de volt két váratlan díj is… Két alkalommal emlékezett Janikovszky János, az író fia is.

A jövő útja: a kisléptékű önellátás – Főzőiskola a Krisna-völgyben
2022 szeptemberében elindítottunk egy közös rovatot a Krisna-völggyel, hogy a Civil Rádió hallgatói elsőkézből értesüljenek a kisléptékű önellátás útjáról, lehetséges lépéseiről. A rovat négyhetente szombaton reggel fél 9 táján hallható.
Ma főzünk! Az apropó a Krisna-völgy főző workshopja, egy indiai konyhai program Gopalival. A műsorban tisztázunk három alapvető fogalmat, azaz mit jelent az ajurvédikus, a vegán és a vegetáriánus étkezés. Megtudjuk, hogy milyen alapanyagokat használnak a Krisna-völgyi étteremben, mit tartalmaz a „thali“ koncepció, ami alapján a kiegyensúlyozott étkezést megtervezik, és melyek az indiai konyha legfontosabb fűszerei.

„John Fitzgerald Kennedy volt az Egyesült Államok legfiatalabb, legvonzóbb, egyik legnépszerűbb és első katolikus elnöke. Talán az ő esetében a legnagyobb az eltérés a mítosz és a valóság között” – Az Egyesült Államok elnökei című könyvnek az Egyesült Államok 35. elnökéről írt fejezete bevezető soraiból idéztünk. A szerzővel, Hahner Péter történésszel, a Rubicon Intézet főigazgatójával beszélgettünk. Megtudhatjuk, hogyan sikerült 1960-ban az ifjú Kennedynek egy jóval tapasztaltabb ellenfelet, Nixont legyőznie, milyen felelősség terheli a kubai Disznó-öbölben végrehajtott akció kudarcáért, mi a szerepe és feladata az általa alapított Békehadtestnek, milyen tévedések vezettek a vietnami háború elindításához, és miért alakulhatott ki mítosz a személye körül.
